HR ADVISOR

POSITION OUTLINE:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Company as an

HR Advisor (Generalist) – to provide comprehensive stand alone HR generalist support to Managers and employees, providing support and administration in all aspects of HR activity.  The ideal candidate must be confident in their ability to work independently and apply their knowledge to a broad range of HR activities.

The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre, have a proven track record in an HR Advisor capacity, ideally in a stand alone role and will be CIPD qualified (or working towards).

The part time hours are approx 15-20hrs per week with a very flexible working pattern available to suit the successful candidates requirements.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

POSITION OUTLINE:

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Maintenance Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The role will involve the production & implementation of a planned preventative maintenance programme and will include fault- finding emergency repairs and regular inspection to plant machinery within a rubber moulding environment.  The role will manage and co-ordinate a small maintenance team to undertake a timely completion of all maintenance requirements.  The role will also look at continual process improvement with the objective of increasing efficiency, production, quality and output levels. 

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced maintenance engineer/manager with supervisory experience with a genuine ability to manage work on a range of plant and equipment to resolve a varied range of engineering problems.

You will ideally have a recognised industry qualification or traditional apprenticeship scheme and will be able to demonstrate proven experience as a Maintenance Manager within the manufacturing industry.

METAL PREP TECHNICIAN

POSITION OUTLINE:

We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated, conscientious adaptable individual to work in a small metal prep team within the Production dept.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience with the use of metal prep or chemicals. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to read and understand job specifications. Strong communications skills are essential.

CNC MACHINIST/MANUAL TURNER

POSITION OUTLINE:

Due to continuing expansion, Rubberatkins has an employment opportunity available for a CNC Machinist/Turner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Working with high precision rubber and steel products and using a HAAS T2L CNC/Centre Lathe with HAAC controls, the ideal candidate must be able to work plan their production schedule to meet deadlines.  The role will involve producing one-off's and batches of a variety of mould tool components.  The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work on their own with limited supervision & be able to use their own initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Track record of Machining/Turning experience is essential.  Competency to programme and run CNC/Lathe machines is also necessary as is the ability to work to quality standards.  Reading technical drawings and HAAS machinery experience would be desirable.

The role will involve shift work.

RUBBER MOULDERS

POSITION OUTLINE:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Core duties include the production & inspection of high quality rubber moulded components.  Attention to detail is crucial to the success of our business therefore you should have the ability to produce work of a high standard, understand & follow process procedures to achieve targets whilst working in a methodical and well ordered manner.

Full training will be provided.
